Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Crew mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Crew ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Website Comparison Purchases

A neighborhood comparison costs $8.99 USD once for up to three reviewed addresses. It is not a subscription. Check the matched addresses, price basis and coverage limitations before paying. Approximate matches and Census-based area estimates are labeled before checkout; estimates are not directly ranked against incident-backed category scores. Reports describe available neighborhood evidence, not building condition, a property inspection, insurance advice, personal crime probabilities or a safety guarantee.

Your report unlocks only after Stripe confirms payment. Save or print it and keep its private access link if you want to reopen it on another device. Anyone with that link can read the report. If payment succeeds but delivery fails, retry the saved order rather than purchasing again and contact us using the details below for payment or delivery support. Nothing here limits applicable consumer rights.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Crew. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@crewdisup.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, stalk, or threaten other users.
• Transmit false emergency alerts through the Homie Help feature.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute crime data or AI briefings for commercial purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

Crime Data Disclaimer

Crime data displayed in Crew is sourced from public law enforcement open-data portals and is provided for informational purposes only. We make no representations about its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The data should not be used as the sole basis for any decision affecting personal safety. Crew is a situational awareness tool, not a substitute for contacting emergency services. In an emergency, always call 911.

Location and Group Features

By sharing your location with a Crew group, you consent to that location being visible to the specific group members you have added. You can leave a group or disable location sharing at any time in the app settings. We are not responsible for how other users respond to or use your shared location.

No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CRIME DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crew and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@crewdisup.com.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
